La Cumbrecita Viewpoint
From this vantage point you can enjoy one of the best panoramic views of the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. The sight of the nearby summits allows us to identify the telescopes of the Astrophysical Observatory of Roque de los Muchachos. Starting from this place, you can do a simple path that takes you back to the starting point, passing by the vantage point of Lomo de Las Chozas, which also offers spectacular views of the Caldera.
Flores-Guedea Viewpoint
It is situated in the northeast side of Valle del Riachuelo, 15 minutes from the viewpoint of La Cumbrecita in the direction of the Ermita de la Virgen del Pino. From it you can control the whole valley covered with pine trees. Towards the south there is a wide sweeping view where the Cumbre Nueva stands out, especially when there is a waterfall of clouds. In the foreground is the northern part of Cumbre Vieja, with the volcanoes of Birigoyo and Montaña Quemada. In their skirts, you can see farms separated by stone walls. In a close-up view you can enjoy the escarpments of the slopes, where the Roques de La Perra highlight. Towards the east, the promontory of the Roque de los Cuervos and, behind, the Pico Bejenado. To the west, the hill of La Cumbrecita with the western summits of the Caldera in the foreground, and to the north the peaks of the Roques de La Cumbrecita under the escarpments of the peak of Los Roques, which constitute the characteristic silhouette of the park from the south.

Los Roques Viewpoint
This viewpoint is located close to the hill of La Cumbrecita, about 1,250 m of altitude, next to the old canal that extracted the water from the galleries Aridane, Tacote and La Faya, at a bend next to a cliff. It has a wide view towards the west and north of the park, highlighting, at the front, the large wall of Risco Liso and Los Roques, close to the beach of Taburiente. You can see, in addition, the top of the waterfall of La Fondada. Due to the landslides produced in 1991, it went from being part of the path La Cumbrecita - Camping area to be a detour of the circuit towards Lomo de Las Chozas.

Los Brecitos Viewpoint
This is the most accessible viewpoint to vehicles and, therefore, one of the most visited in the park. From here you can observe the hill La Cumbrecita, the Pico de Bejenado, the only isolated from the national park, and a special formation of peaks with a saw-teeth pattern called Los Agujeritos. If you take a close look at the walls of the Caldera, you will be able to identify, through their different colours, the periods of old and recent eruptions.

Tagasaste Viewpoint
If you look from afar and to your right, you can see a damp area where the Fuente de La Mula is located (The Fountain of the Mule), from which water flows continuously. From this vantage point you have a view of the roques in the interior of the Caldera, all of them of sedimentary origin and not volcanic, as indicated by the heterogeneous materials that form them.

La Fondada Viewpoint
In the surroundings of the viewpoint, water is the element that stands out from the rest of the natural values. The cascade of La Fondada is the largest waterfall of the entire national park. Through a stone toboggan, water descends more than 100 m. The existing humidity leads to an abundant vegetation and this fact allows the park to host numerous species of fauna, among which stands out the paloma rabiche, the White-tailed Laurel Pigeon (Columba junoniae). Following the handrail of the viewpoint, next to the Roque de La Fondada, you can observe how an old pine tree is hung on the wall and is reluctant to fall.
×
Hoyo Verde Viewpoint
The view from this vantage point allows you to enjoy multiple waterfalls, whose springs can be found at the highest altitude of the Park. From this point, halfway the Barranco de Hoyo Verde, the existing moisture creates conditions which are suitable to house the rarest endemic species of the park. The upstream path is very complicated. That is why it is strongly recommended to go a few meters between the large blocks of stone and return to the camping area.

Espigón Viewpoint of the Roque de Los Muchachos
From any of these 4 viewpoints there are sweeping views of the islands of Tenerife, La Gomera and El Hierro, in addition to much of the south of La Palma. In the foreground you can observe geological details that exist at an altitude of 1,000 m in the ravines of Cantos de Turugumay in the northeast and Hoyo Verde in the southeast.
