Located in La Laguna Grande, in this small facility you can be informed of all the services that are provided in the park and, especially, of the routes that start in this place.

The Visitors Centre Juego de Bolas is the ideal place to approach La Gomera and plan the visit, whether if you are going to be a day or more on the island. With equipment adapted to people with reduced mobility, the contents that can be found in the visit are:

  • Centro de Visitantes de Juego de Bolas 2Exhibitions devoted to the nature of the Garajonay National Park, and La Gomera as a whole, in all its aspects: geography, climate, geology, flora, fauna and human uses of the territory.
  • Exhibition devoted to historical elements of the traditional, rural life, which includes reproductions of a rural house and an aboriginal burial. As a complement to all of this, an audiovisual of ethnographic content is emitted, offered only in the Spanish language.
  • It also shows the native flora of the Park and of the whole island, grouped by types of vegetation and identified with its local and scientific names.


These are the services it offers to the visitor and that can be agreed upon by any person who requests them:

  • Attention and information given by the staff of the park, with the spirit of resolving their doubts and provide the guidance the visitor needs to make his stay successful and pleasant.
  • Satisfying the demand for information regarding the possibilities and limitations of the implementation of specific activities within the national park.
  • General Information about the aspects related to the public use and management of the park.
  • Promotional activities aimed at schools, consisting of lectures and workshops in educational institutions, as well as of workshops and guided tours in the park.
  • Guided tours of the visitors centre for organized groups (associations and groups).
  • Guided hiking routes for the general public by staff of the park, which can be carried out every Friday of the year and every Wednesday of July, August and September. They are conducted in Spanish and limited to a maximum of 20 people.
  • Guided hiking routes for organized groups (associations and groups), which can be carried out on any day of the week except on Sunday.
  • The park has a parking lot in the four recreational areas: El Cedro, Las Creces, Chorros de Epina and La Laguna Grande, being the last one the most important. The Visitors Centre, on the outside of the park, also has a parking area.
  • A store, where you can buy books and souvenirs related to the park.
  • Footbridges and viewpoints with extensive panoramic views towards the National Park and the northern coast.
  • Sources of drinking water.
  • Toilets for disabled people.
