Since his professional debut at the age of 24 as Chief Conductor of Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra (Uruguay), Ignacio García-Vidal has regularly conducted important orchestras such as the spanish RTVE Symphonic Orchestra , Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional Argentina, Orchester Symphonique National Algerienne, Philharmonic Orchestra of the Colón Theater of Buenos Aires, the Symphony Orchestras of Córdoba, Salta, Tenerife, Navarra, Rosario, Santa Fe, Mar del Plata, Principality of Asturias, Tucumán, Granada, Murcia, or the Montevideo Philharmonics, Würzburg and Quito, among others. Ignacio García-Vidal (Cocentaina, Spain, 1979) is a conductor and musicologist with deep academic and humanist training: he is a Doctor "Cum Laude" (PhD) in Didactics of Musical Direction, a Bachelor of Musicology (University of Salamanca) and Degree in Communication Sciences (Pontifical University of Salamanca). He trained in Orchestra Conducting mainly in Spain and Russia with the teachers Enrique García Asensio, George Erzhemski and Piotr Alexievich Gribanov, expanding his knowledge in training spaces in Estonia (Panula, Jarvi, Dmitriyev), Saint Petersburg (Korchmar, Edwards) and Vienna (Plus).

García-Vidal has led successful tours, his concerts have included appearances at Festivals such as "MozartFest Würzburg" (Germany), "Festival International Symphonique" (Algiers), "Ópera de Lanzarote" (Canary Islands) and has been invited by institutions such as " Mozarteum Argentino "," Instituto Cervantes "and" Fundación Barenboim-Saïd ". He has been distinguished as "Guest of Honor" by the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires (Argentina) and awarded by the Rotary Club of Salamanca.

Ignacio maintains a special commitment to educational actions and bringing music to all audiences, devoting special attention as a director and pedagogue to projects for children and youth orchestras and choirs in deprived areas of South America, as well as the creation of concerts in new formats.
